Al Habtoor Group Hosts Dubai Police Employees’ Orphaned Children

Dubai, UAE – Al Habtoor Group, in adherence to its commitment to social responsibility, hosted an iftar for the orphaned children of Dubai Police employees. This heartfelt initiative, titled “With You in Ramadan,” was organized in collaboration with the General Department of Human Rights in Dubai, coinciding with the commemoration of Zayed Humanitarian Work Day.

The event, held at the “MADE” café & eatery in Al Habtoor City, brought together 40 members of Dubai Police employees’ orphaned children and their families in a warm and inclusive atmosphere. Notable attendees included Brigadier General Abdul Rahman Al Shaer, Deputy Director of the General Department for Human Rights in Dubai, Brigadier General Dr Ahmed Al Saadi, Director of the Department for the Protection of Rights and Freedoms, along with Major Jassim Ali Buhendi and Lieutenant Issa Al Qawadi, alongside the initiative’s support team.

Mohammed bin Khalaf Al Habtoor, Vice Chairman and CEO of Al Habtoor Group, sponsored the event, expressing his delight at fostering solidarity and mutual support, values deeply ingrained in Arab culture and religion. He underscored the significance of supporting the orphaned children of Dubai Police employees, acknowledging their sacrifices and dedication to national service.

Al Habtoor emphasized the pivotal role of corporations in societal betterment, highlighting his group’s enduring commitment to assisting disadvantaged groups and nurturing social bonds. This charitable iftar epitomizes Al Habtoor Group’s ongoing humanitarian endeavors, which include previous initiatives such as hosting orphans at the La Perle Dubai show and providing memorable experiences at the Al Habtoor Polo Resort.
